Reasons to be cheerful 1, 2, 3

This is my first ever attempt at linking with a blog, so please forgive any technical failings on my part! I'm sure I will get the hang of it *laughs-nervously-at-herself*

So I read Michelle's blog and thought it was a lovely idea to reflect on life, which does have this cheeky way of getting you down at times, and remember to see what is also beautiful, happy, nay amazing!

Right, well here are my Three reasons to be cheerful:

1.  My daughter is finally well and back to her good ol' self, after a very hard week with a raging UTI.  Her sparkle is back, her mischief is back and finally I can relax.  I'm so very very thankful.

2.  Yesterday I visited a friend of mine who is half way through chemo trreatment.  For the first time in months she looked, well, radiant! To see her smile and look so bright just choked me up. How can that not make you smile?

3.  My blog is my final, more self-centred, reason to be cheerful.  I have met some truly wonderful people, the warmth and welcome has knocked me for six, and finally I have a place where I can be myself and not worry what people might think of me.  I would just like to say a huge thank you to anyone who has taken time to read this blog, or to swap tweets with me.  I do appreciate you very much!

OK, well there's no more putting it off.  Time to publish and see if the link back to Michelle's blog works..wish me luck....
